As part of the IGCSE Music and Uplands School Diploma coursework, students are required to compose, record (and notate) two contrasting original compositions. This year's graduating Year 11 Music students need to be commended on the resilience they have shown during all the challenges of the pandemic and periods of online learning.
The class has compiled all of their original compositions on this one album. With the last year and a half being a time of constant changes and unexpected turns and twists, and with this album marking the end of Year 11 and changes ahead for the students, the title 'impermanence' was considered appropriate.
